Terms of Service
Effective Date: June 1, 2026 · Last Updated: June 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of patriotmetalroofing.com and any forms, calls, or communications you have with Patriot Metal Roofing LLC (“Patriot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our site or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site.
Service Area
Patriot serves residential homeowners within approximately 50 miles of Mooresville, NC. We do not accept projects outside this area. We install residential metal roofing only — we do not perform commercial, industrial, or non-residential roofing work.
Use of the Site
Our site is provided for homeowners who are interested in a metal roofing estimate. You agree to:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete information when filling out forms
- Use the site only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to interfere with the site or its security
Information on this site is for general informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, engineering, or contracting advice for your specific home.
SMS / MMS Consent
By submitting your phone number through a form on our site, you agree to receive SMS and MMS messages from Patriot Metal Roofing about your estimate, your appointments, and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For more information about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
Our Estimate Process
Patriot does not perform in-person sales appointments at this stage. The estimate process happens over the phone in two calls:
- Estimate Prep Call — a short phone call where we narrow options and confirm details about your home
- Estimate Review Call — a focused phone call where we walk through the prepared estimate together and you choose your final picks
Anything we share during these calls is provided in good faith based on the information you give us. A written estimate is delivered at the end of the Estimate Review Call. Estimates are not binding contracts. A binding agreement only exists once you and Patriot have signed a written contract for the work. Patriot does not conduct in-person sales visits to your home prior to install day; the first time a Patriot crew is physically on your property is for the installation itself.
Right of Cancellation
Notice to Buyer — North Carolina Home Solicitation Sales Act (N.C. Gen. Stat. § 25A-38 et seq.). Because Patriot’s estimate and sales process is conducted by telephone, any resulting contract may qualify as a home solicitation sale under North Carolina law. You have the right to cancel this transaction at any time prior to midnight of the third (3rd) business day after the date of the transaction. To cancel, you must deliver written notice of cancellation to:
Patriot Metal Roofing LLC
1914 J N Pease Pl
Charlotte, NC 28262
Written notice may be delivered by mail, by hand, or by email to info@patriotmetalroofing.com. If you cancel within the three-business-day period, any payments made by you under the contract will be returned within the time required by North Carolina law, and any security interest arising out of the transaction will be cancelled. Your signed contract will include a separate Notice of Cancellation form as required by law.
Payment Terms
No payment is required to receive an estimate. All estimates are free. Payment terms — including any deposit amount, draw schedule, milestone payments, and timing of final payment — are specified in the signed written contract for the work. Patriot does not collect payment over the phone or via the website at the estimate stage.
Property Access
By signing a contract for installation services, you authorize Patriot Metal Roofing LLC and its employees, crews, and subcontractors to access your property as reasonably necessary to complete the agreed-upon work during normal working hours. You agree to provide clear access to the roof, work zones, and any staging or dumpster areas described in the contract. You are responsible for removing or securing personal items in the work zone unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Force Majeure
Patriot is not liable for delays in performance or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, hurricanes, tornadoes, hail, lightning, flooding, material shortages, supplier delays, labor disruptions, pandemics, governmental action, fire, or other acts of God. If a force majeure event materially affects the work, Patriot will resume performance as soon as reasonably practicable and will communicate rescheduling with you in writing.
Warranties
Patriot provides a transferable lifetime material warranty on all roof systems we install, plus a system-specific workmanship warranty: 50 years on standing seam, 40 years on stone-coated steel, and 15 years on exposed-fastener (corrugated) systems with screw maintenance required at year 15. The full warranty terms, including coverage, exclusions, claim procedure, and transfer requirements, are delivered with the written contract at signing. Nothing on this site is itself a warranty. The signed contract and the written warranty documents are the controlling documents for any warranty claim.
Meaning of “Lifetime.”In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s Guides for the Advertising of Warranties and Guarantees (16 C.F.R. § 239.4), the term “lifetime” as used by Patriot refers solely to the transferable lifetime material warranty described above, and means the expected serviceable life of the roof system as installed on the original structure, subject to proper installation, normal use, and the maintenance described in this section and the written warranty. It does not refer to the lifetime of any individual owner or occupant. The workmanship warranty is not a lifetime warranty; it is a fixed term that depends on the roof system installed (50 years on standing seam, 40 years on stone-coated steel, and 15 years on exposed-fastener systems with required screw maintenance at year 15).
Warranty Transfer. The material warranty is transferable to a subsequent owner of the original property, subject to the following: (a) the original owner or new owner must provide written notification of transfer to Patriot Metal Roofing LLC at the address above within thirty (30) days of the property sale; (b) a transfer fee may apply; and (c) the new owner must agree in writing to the same maintenance obligations as the original owner. Contact Patriot for current transfer terms and any applicable fee.
Exposed-Fastener Systems — Required Maintenance. Exposed-fastener metal roofing systems include rubber or synthetic gaskets (washers) at each fastener location. These gaskets are wear components and require periodic inspection and replacement, typically every fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years depending on climate, sun exposure, and the specific fastener system installed. This is a routine maintenance requirement, not a defect. Failure to inspect and replace worn gaskets within the recommended interval may void warranty coverage for any damage resulting from the deteriorated gaskets, including leaks and underlying substrate damage. Patriot offers a paid inspection and gasket-replacement service; contact us to schedule. Concealed-fastener (standing seam) systems do not have this maintenance requirement.
